ISawItFirst gets its new CEO!
The British fashion e-tailer has appointed Greg Pateras, who previously served as Chief Executive at Matalan, as the new CEO. It is worth noting here that the founder Jalal Kamani has now become the chair of the firm.
Greg is not new to ISawItFirst! Before being promoted as CEO, Greg was working as Executive Director at the e-tailer with the focus on professionalising the fast-growing business and preparing it for a transaction, either a stock market flotation or sale.
Ever since its inception in 2017, annual sales at ISawItFirst are reported to be approaching £75 million as new customers have flocked to the brand following its high-profile sponsorship of TV show Love Island. The e-tailer might attain the sales target this year.
Besides being at Matalan, Greg was the CFO at e-tail powerhouse Shop Direct, now known as The Very Group. He has also been a significant part of the leadership team that transformed the business from a loss-making catalogue retailer to a fast-growing pureplay.
Founded by Jalal Kamani, the Co-founder of Boohoo, ISawItFirst is majorly known for producing huge lines of quality apparels clothes at low prices.
