
Trident Ltd.,, a leading textiles company, revealed a consolidated net profit of Rs. 90.31 crore for the September quarter of FY ’24, marking a 141.5 per cent surge from Rs. 37.39 crore in the previous fiscal year’s same quarter.
The company reported total revenue of Rs. 17,97.52 crore, marking a notable 25 per cent increase from Rs. 14,37.67 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, according to the regulatory filing.
In a separate development, Trident Limited announced securing a patent for ‘Terry fabric weave and resulting terry fabric’ from The Patent Office, Government of India.
According to the company, the patent allows it to produce towels with enhanced material efficiencies, increased pull resistance, improved absorbency, softness, and uniform texture.
Punjab-based Trident stands as a major player in India’s home textile industry. With approximately 400 points-of-sales nationwide, the company aims to double its retail presence by expanding to 800 points-of-sales in the upcoming year.
