Tommy Hilfiger has announced the opening of its newest outlet store in Brisbane, as the US fashion brand continues to expand its presence across the Australian market.
Located in the DFO mall, one of Queensland capital’s premier shopping destinations with over 140 stores and just five minutes from Brisbane airport, the new 876-square-metre ground-floor Tommy Hilfiger outlet is the largest in Australia. It offers a wide range of apparel and accessories from multiple Tommy Hilfiger collections.
In its most recent trading update, parent company PVH Corp. reported a 10 per cent drop in revenues to US $ 1.952 billion for the first quarter, hindered by a sluggish wholesale segment. The New York-based company noted that Tommy Hilfiger revenue decreased by 10 per cent compared to the previous year, due to a 14 per cent drop in international revenues, slightly offset by a 2 per cent gain in North American sales.
