
The US based apparel retailer Tommy Hilfiger has joined hands with solar structure designer and producer Pvilion, to develop a Solar Powered Jacket for the 2014 holiday season.The limited-edition of woollen jackets has been crafted with a mix of both conventional fabrics and tartan.The back of the jacket features a space to attach around 7 to 10 removable solar panels which harness sunlight and utilize the power for charging an array of smart devices such as mobile phones and tablets.
