Pace Partnership London (PPL), led by former Barbour MD Ryan Llewellyn-Pace, will oversee Ted Baker’s wholesale operations in the UK and Europe.
In a five-year contract, PDS Group, the company that owns New Lobster, agreed to manage the fashion retailer’s wholesale operations, including sales and marketing, throughout Europe. Last year, PDS Group signed a long-term strategic partnership with Authentic to create the Ted Baker Design Group.
PPL’s job will be to help the British store regain growth after going into administration earlier this year, while New Lobster will “continue to be responsible for design, development, and production” worldwide.
During his tenure, Llewellyn-Pace, the founder and CEO of PPL, was instrumental in growing Barbour’s wholesale presence in the UK and around the world.
To help him with Ted Baker’s wholesale business, he has chosen several members of his former Barbour management team.
These include former sales manager William Ball, former senior national account manager Mark Simpson, who oversaw Barbour’s main wholesale accounts, former director of marketing Natasha Bailey, and former head of global business development Kevin Freegard.
