Odlo, the Switzerland performance brand, has bought the UK-based sailing and lifestyle brand Henri-Lloyd.
The Swiss brand’s acquisition yet again strengthens its commitment to growth and scale through acquisition across their portfolio.
The acquisition, the brand said, will help further expand Henri-Lloyd’s range of products as well as geographical footprint.
Elated over the association, Hugo Maurstad, Chairman, Odlo, said that both the brands originated from technical innovations in outdoor sport apparel and will complement each other going forward.
Though the acquisition price wasn’t revealed as yet, the company did say that Henri-Lloyd team will stay in the UK.
Founded in 1946, Odlo is an international Swiss manufacturer of outdoor clothing and functional sportswear with Norwegian roots. It employs more than 700 people and manufactures over 70 per cent of the products in Europe and the Middle East, and 28 per cent of the products in Asia.
