
E-commerce giant Flipkart’s Gen Z-focused fashion destination Spoyl has launched an official merchandise collection for upcoming Netflix film ‘The Archies’. The collection features over 300 designs spanning apparel, footwear, and accessories.
The Archies is directed by Zoya Akhtar and will be available exclusively on Netflix on 7th December. The Netflix original is set in the 1960s, and costuming is an important part of the production. Spoyl has produced a wide assortment of official items ranging from vintage inspired dresses to loungewear and T-shirts, according to a press release issued by Flipkart.
To appeal to a diverse clientele, the Archies collection includes both retro and modern style clothes. Due to the scale of the collection and Spoyl’s first collaboration with an entertainment production, Flipkart has dubbed the official merchandise relationship as “a first-of-its-kind association.”
“With Spoyl, our mission is to provide every Gen Z fashion shopper in the country with the greatest value on trendy fashion offerings,” said Flipkart Fashion’s senior director Abhishek Maloo in a press release.
