
Russell & Bromley, the prominent footwear and accessory brand, has declared the selection of its first creative director, Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw.
Daniel will spearhead the creative direction of the 140-year-old label and become a part of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Andrew Bromley.
Beardsworth-Shaw brings a strong background in the UK fashion industry, having gained knowledge at various British labels and around global markets, where he established commercially conceptual ranges, operations, and retail environments. His former roles include supervising design and product development at footwear expert Hunter and sportswear brand Sweaty Betty. Furthermore, he enjoyed a substantial tenure with British designer Christopher Raeburn, concentrating on accountable and sustainable design and production practices.
His selection marks a key moment in Russell & Bromley’s growth trajectory, with his first complete collection for the brand planned for the autumn 2025 season. CEO Andrew Bromley shared excitement about Beardsworth-Shaw’s leadership in promoting the brand’s product design and visual identity, emphasising it as a vital step in their transformation plans to reinforce their presence in British fashion.
Current transformations at Russell & Bromley have comprised moving their headquarters to a new three-storey facility in London’s Soho. This change unifies all head office functions and presents committed design and creative studios. The brand has also set forth on a UK retail growth strategy, revealing new stores in London featuring a reinvigorated concept aimed at improving its luxury positioning.
Beardsworth-Shaw also shared his zeal for the future, stating his honor in determining the next chapter of Russell & Bromley’s story via innovation and artistic direction.
