
Rupa & Company Ltd reported a 148 per cent increase in net profit, reaching Rs. 10 crore for the first quarter ended 30th June, compared to Rs. 4 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue for the quarter grew by 7 per cent, rising to Rs. 208 crore from Rs. 194 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Vikash Agarwal, Director at Rupa & Co, stated, “We are pleased with our stable performance in Q1 FY ’25, despite the industry’s resistance to price hikes. We made steady progress across key financial metrics, with an 8 per cent increase in revenue driven by strong sales in our core product line.”
He further expressed confidence in achieving new milestones and delivering innovative products, emphasising the company’s customer-first approach, which will strengthen its position as an industry leader and support its sustainable business model.
In the quarter, Rupa & Co opened one exclusive brand outlet, bringing the total to 29, and plans to add over 100 new stores during the current financial year.
