My Wardrobe HQ, the leading fashion rental marketplace, has announced a collaboration with Gen Z-focused fashion rental website Rotaro, which centres around the consolidation of stock offered from the two rental platforms.
The move expands the selection of brand- and vendor-owned products on My Wardrobe HQ, giving UK consumers access to the ultimate ‘closet in the cloud’.
One of several cutting-edge rental platforms in the UK is My Wardrobe HQ (MWHQ), which was co-founded by businessman Sacha Newall in 2018. On its site, a variety of labels, including Burberry, Beulah, Tommy Hilfiger, and others, offer designs for rent. Additionally, it manages rental services on behalf of well-known brands, such as Jigsaw, and has a rental area within Harrods.
Georgie Hyatt co-founded Rotaro in 2019, a company that specialises on premium cult brands for a younger audience, including ROTATE Birger Christensen, GANNI, The Vampire’s Wife, Jacquemus, and Hai. On Carnaby Street and in Liberty, it has previously held pop-up retail events.
Speaking of the collaboration, My Wardrobe HQ’s Newall said, “The consolidation with ROTARO was a great opportunity for the business.”
Rotaro’s Hyatt added, “I’m delighted with this consolidation, it allows our customers and designers to connect to one another through renting.”
