
US-based fashion company, PVH Corporation has announced to launch its iconic brand IZOD in Europe, as part of the company’s global expansion plans. From this year’s fall season, the American lifestyle brand’s products such as shirts, polos, t-shirts, sweaters, pants and denim etc. will be accessible in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Scandinavia.
Notably, the Fall/Winter 2018 collection of IZOD embraces the label’s rich all-American tradition, inspired by Ivy league colleges, coastal towns and the grand inland scenery. The range is curated using two key capsules: Winter Nautical, highlighting college prep and nautical themes, and Explorer, for the classic winter look.
Ken Duane, CEO, Heritage Brands, PVH said that when the company was searching for regions for further expansion of IZOD’s global presence, Europe stood out as the most opportunistic region among all.
Additionally, the IZOD Fall/Winter collection for the year will be available in different countries through various networks like El Corte Inglés in Spain, Hudson’s Bay in the Netherlands, and Galeria Kaufhof in Germany. However, the upcoming collection will also be made available online via Zalando and Boozt.
The introduction of the fashion brand in the new regions will be aided by a concentrated region-based marketing, PR and social influencer campaign, along with a new shop-in-shop system that will be introduced in Spain with further distribution within Europe.
As for the further expansion plans, the American fashion brand has said that it is eyeing to take its presence in Russia and the Middle East region by Spring next year.
