Premium menswear fashion rental platform Garmentry was launched yesterday (29 March 2021) in the UK.
The new marketplace will allow shoppers to rent wide variety of ready-to-wear, occasion wear and fashion accessories.
The lenders will upload the photographs of the products with description and attributes – at their own prices and availability.
The shoppers can then browse for products, send requests to lenders, arrange delivery, wear them and finally return to the lender directly.
Notably, Garmentry charges 15 per cent on each rental, with no fee to listing items.
As per a research done by Garmentry, 70 per cent of men in the UK have been casually lending clothes to each other, with most of them not even aware of the rental business of womenswear.
In this regard, Callum Bramley, CEO, Garmentry told media that lately there have been hundreds of signups from men across the UK with all wanting to lend or rent their wardrobe.
Therefore, the launch of Garmentry couldn’t have come at a better time – exclusively for the men in the UK.
