Secondhand luxury retail platform Vestiaire Collective celebrated its 15th anniversary with a treasure hunt that put up 250 items at the price of US $ 19.48.
It was reported that the ‘hidden items’ from the treasure hunt included luxury brands like Dior, Burberry, Fendi, Miu Miu, Gucci, Chloe, Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Valentino, priced at US $ 1298.66 each. “Vestiaire Collective has demonstrated for 15 years that fashion and thoughtful decisions can coexist, and we are setting the standard for a more sustainable fashion sector in the future,” Vestiaire Collective president and co-founder Fanny Moizant reportedly said.
Vestiaire Collective witnessed a 25 per cent spike in its revenue growth in 2023 and currently eyes the US as one of the largest market for resale luxury platform’s rise. The US contributes to 20 per cent of the platform’s sales and is expected to grow in the coming time.
