With a decade of experience in fashion, Palomo Spain enters a pivotal new chapter with key leadership shifts, new capital, and the strengthening of its presence in womenswear. Alejandro Gómez Palomo, founder of the brand, has chosen experienced Spanish fashion executive Rosella López Norzi to serve as its new CEO, in addition to taking on investor Jan Andreu Masrramon, who serves as executive director of Andge Investments, to join the board of the company.
Norzi took over in September 2024, quietly, but her appointment has since been officially announced. With over two decades of experience in global fashion markets—most recently at Ralph Lauren, luxury accessories brand Kotur, Cushnie, and president at New York label Figue—Norzi is charged with leading strategic growth in retail, wholesale, and e-commerce. She will also be responsible for new investment programs to fund the brand’s changing business model.
The leadership overhaul aligns with a critical creative milestone for Palomo Spain: its expansion into womenswear. Renowned for challenging conventional gender roles in menswear via ardent, baroque-inspired fashion, the house is expanding its reach with its Resort 2026 collection—Cocoon—its inaugural offering designed specifically for women.
Cocoon takes its cue from southern Spain and features silk blouses, floral patterns, and feather-adorned pieces. The designer explained that Palomo has always had appreciation for women in his DNA, and since the start, it was their mission to make men have access to looks typically given to women, but women always existed in their realm as well.
With Norzi at the helm and fresh investment spurring its growth, Palomo Spain seems well on its way to transition from niche pioneer to international style powerhouse—one that is now welcoming a wider audience while remaining fiercely loyal to its fearless, rule-defying sensibility.
