The American retail apparel company Pacsun has introduced its first men’s activewear range.
The collection, named ‘A.R.C.’ (Active. Recreation. Comfort), is made to accommodate the active lifestyles of men in Generation Z. The 28-piece line, which focuses on the intersections of everyday life, gives sportswear a modern, fashionable edge.
‘Active’ clothing is made for high-performance activities; ‘Recreation’ clothing is meant for daily use; and ‘Comfort’ clothing is premium loungewear. These three categories comprise the A.R.C. collection.
The collection features a variety of styles, such as crewnecks, hoodies, slacks, joggers, run and flight shorts, color-blocked vests and short sleeve and cut-off tees. These are available in a range of materials, including moisture-wicking poly blends, stretch nylons, and brushed heavyweight fleece. Available in neutral colours such as grey, olive, black, brown, off-white, yellow, and navy, all styles include HD reflective logos.
“The A.R.C. collection marks a significant milestone for Pacsun as we introduce our first dedicated men’s activewear line and look to fill a gap in the market,” said Richard Cox, VP of men’s merchandising and design at Pacsun.
The first collection in Pacsun’s carefully chosen men’s active category, A.R.C., will feature a variety of external brands. Pacsun will further build its presence in the activewear sector with the launching of Y.I.W.O., a sportswear brand, in addition to the A.R.C. launch.
The success of Pacsun’s Women’s Active and PAC1980 activewear brands, as well as the establishment of its own storefront in the Mall of America in 2023, are being built upon with this new launch.
