Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, has launched OppDoor, a new e-commerce firm. By providing end-to-end solutions, the company hopes to link emerging internet firms with global consumers.
As stated on its new website, OppDoor is a managed assistance platform for worldwide expansion. The company intends to provide new businesses with insights into foreign markets, taxes and compliance, consumer behaviour, third-party suppliers, and partnerships in order to help them optimise their operations and expand their client base.
The company is registered in Singapore. As per OppDoor’s LinkedIn page, the organisation presently has between 11 and 50 employees.
According to reports, this is Bansal’s second entrepreneurial venture after creating Flipkart. He completely quit Flipkart in 2023 by selling his remaining stock to the company’s owner, Walmart.
According to the sources, Bansal has engaged several former Flipkart executives to collaborate on OppDoor. Bansal has also made significant investments in India’s startup ecosystem, financing around 80 companies such as Rupeek, Flash, and Bright Champs, among others.
OppDoor’s website states, “We are a technology-enabled solutions organisation that has the objective of transforming the way goods are sold on platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, etc. We assist unique privately owned e-commerce businesses in achieving their business objectives. Join together with us and let us help you revolutionise your private label business.”
