
Arne Arens has been named as new Global Brand President of The North Face. In his new role, Arens will be responsible for leading the global brand vision and strategy to continue to build brand equity and create a consistent, consumer-centric experience for The North Face’s consumers. Arens is known for his deep marketing, product development and direct-to-consumer experience.
“I am honoured to lead the global direction for the world’s most authentic and iconic outdoor brand. The North Face brand teams work hard every day to inspire people to explore the outdoors and equip them with innovative products. With our new strategic focus and operational rigor, I know that together we will guide the brand into our next phase of global growth,” Arens said.
Arens joined The North Face in 2010. In March of this year, he was appointed the brand’s Vice President and General Manager for the Americas. In that role, he managed the brand’s Americas business and strategic initiatives for sales, merchandising and direct-to-consumer, informed a statement issued by the company.

Before joining VFC, he spent eight years in Europe in marketing, sales and category roles for Nike. Prior to joining Nike, he served in consulting roles across a range of industries and geographies.
