
Fashion retailer Nordstrom Inc. is mulling to open a Nordstrom Rack store at Minnesota, United States. The company release mentions that 26,000-square-foot store is expected to be open for customers by Spring next year.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to expand our presence in Minnesota and better serve our customers by opening an additional Nordstrom Rack in the Twin Cities. Our new store will offer customers in the surrounding communities of Oakdale, Landfall, Lake Elmo, Cottage Grove, Maplewood, Newport and Afton an additional way to shop for the Nordstrom brands they love at great prices,” said Geevy Thomas, President of Nordstrom Rack.

The soon-to-be open store will be the fourth Nordstrom Rack store in the region. Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, which offers customers a wide selection of on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at an everyday savings of 30-70 per cent off regular prices.
Recently, Nordstrom disclosed its first quarter results in which it reported that its net sales zoomed 2.5 per cent to US $ 3.2 billion. However its comparable sales dropped 1.7 per cent in the first quarter against the same period last year.
