Nordstrom has announced the appointment of Lisa Price to the role of chief human resources officer, effective 6th November.
Price will assist all parts of human resources in her new post, including recruiting and succession planning; learning and development; recognition and retention; diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; and total rewards, according to a news release from the luxury department store giant.
Price comes to Nordstrom from Domino’s Pizza, where she was executive vice president and chief human resources officer since August of this year. Price joined Domino’s after working as a member of Nordstrom’s human resources team from 2015 to 2019, most recently as senior vice president of human resources.
“With nearly three decades of experience driving and creating culture for large global organisations and previous experience working at Nordstrom, Lisa understands that the success of our business starts with our people,” said Erik Nordstrom, chief executive officer, Nordstrom, Inc.
“I am thrilled to be rejoining the talented team at Nordstrom,” said Price.
Price’s appointment comes just one month after Nordstrom announced multiple executive leadership changes in its merchandising and store organisations.
