Sportswear giant Nike recently opened a concept store in Los Angeles by the name of Nike Live. The store was opened to offer the customers a never-seen-before experience and eventually act as a concept hub for its domestic NikePlus members.
With this store, Nike has also introduced Swoosh Text, a unique way to interact with its customers. It is an SMS platform that helps the customers to directly interact with the store employees. This feature not only reduces the check-out time but also betters the in-shop experience of shoppers.
The service will be accessible by NikePlus members only and this is not the first time when a retailer has opted to offer a service where the shopper does not even have to leave his vehicle and get the product delivered by outlet’s staff.
Notably, US-based retail giant Walmart and Target Corporation too introduced this pickup programme earlier this year. Nike has also launched its curbside pickup service alongside its latest outlet in Los Angeles to help on-the-go shoppers.
The sportswear behemoth recently introduced the ‘ultimate shopping companion’, a feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to further enhance its customers’ in-shop experience. This feature allows the shopper to just scan a product and the salesperson at that store will bring all the variants of that product with easy checkout procedure.
