While the world struggles with the COVID-19 crisis, Nike has some positive news to share with its sneakerhead patrons.
The leading sportswear maker is all set to launch its KD13 sneaker with a black/white colourway and the new Zoom technology.
The release date is set as 6 April globally and 17 April in North America.
This collaboration with Kevin Durant, a professional NBA player for the Brooklyn Nets, will feature an additional kidney-shaped Zoom unit placed in the shoe’s cushioning in the forefront ‘beneath the full-length Air Zoom strobel.’
The company is looking to channel Durant’s athleticism to encourage movement off the ball of the foot in the Nike Zoom KD13.
According to a press release by the company on the launch, “Movement needs to follow a rough sequence of absorption, moderation and propulsion across all planes, whether it supports running, shuffling, cutting or jumping, all of which can look different depending on a player’s profile.”
