Your Neiman’s!
That’s the new virtual hub launched by American retailer Neiman Marcus to provide the best of personalised luxury services and experiences to all shoppers.
That’s what every customer wants today when the world is still getting used to ‘new normal’ and shopping is no longer the same as it was in the pre-pandemic days.
The virtual hub, or digital hub as some would like to call, will help customers fix appointments to shop in the store or curbside pickup – consequently bringing fewer crowds, less congestion and more safety.
Additionally, customers can learn about fashion through virtual events and programmes and also fix appointments with stylists and work with them closely through video sessions.
When Katie Mullen had joined Neiman Marcus in 2019 as digital chief, there was talk about the retailer’s focus to expand its virtual styling services. Soon it happened but it was only over the last few months, during pandemic, one has understood its relevance.
The retailer said around 4,900 associates, stylists and managers at Neiman Marcus and its Bergdorf Goodman banner are now using digital tools to interact closely with customers, who in last 3 months have spent US $ 60 million.
The intent is to give the best of personalised service and human interaction that anyone would expect in a bricks-and-mortar store and Your Neiman’s ensures to do that.
It is clear that Neiman Marcus’ focus will now be more on virtual expansion and less on physical stores considering it is still putting lots of efforts to exit bankruptcy.
