JCPenney, the well-known American clothing retailer, has launched a private label men’s clothing brand.
The brand, known as Mutual Weave, comprises exquisite collection of denim, tees, knits, jackets and button-down, besides including shoes.
Notably, the much-awaited workwear-inspired brand will be available in sizes that range from XS to 5XLT and in adaptive styles.
Besides being available on JCPenney’s website, Mutual Weave will also be available on 600 of its physical stores.
JCPenney’s focus to invest in private labels is no surprise considering many fashion firms have been lately foraying into this segment to enhance their financial performance and also drive higher margins.
One such retailer who has tasted success in recent times is Target, which has, reportedly, produced 10 billion private labels so far.
More on JCPenney’s launch, Michelle Wlazlo, Chief Merchandising Officer, JC Penney, said that customers have been turning towards JCPenney and its private brands for great quality and value to meet their varied needs – ranging from business wear to workwear.
The American retailer generated US $ 11.167 million in 2019.
