Following the departure of Anna Braithwaite, Sharry Cramond will take over as Marketing Director for Fashion, Home & Beauty at Marks & Spencer, the company has stated.
Since taking over as M&S Food’s marketing director in January 2018, Cramond has been “instrumental” in the company’s transformation. The brand’s customer impressions of quality and value have improved dramatically under her direction.
Her knowledge of fashion retail from her time as Marketing Director at Tesco and Target, two of the biggest grocery chains, will be combined with her expertise at M&S in her new post.
In addition, she will still be in charge of more general cross-business duties including Masterbrand marketing and Sparks loyalty program management. The M&S Food division is now hiring a replacement for her.
When Braithwaite joined M&S in June 2021, the British department store was going through a major transition. He helped to revitalise the brand and shape its changing marketing strategy, most recently helping to launch the new ‘Summer Like You Mean It’ campaign this week.
