
Metro Brands Limited (MBL) has announced a new partnership with New Era Cap, the renowned New York-based sports fashion brand known for its headwear. This long-term licensing agreement grants MBL exclusive rights to distribute and sell New Era’s signature headwear, clothing, and accessories across India, through both physical stores and online platforms.
This collaboration is a significant move for MBL, as it seeks to merge sports culture with the Indian cap market. Nissan Joseph, CEO of Metro Brands, remarked, “Our goal is to bring top global brands to India, and our partnership with New Era fits perfectly with our mission to meet our customers’ athleisure requirements. We are confident that caps will become a popular accessory in India.”
Having over 800 stores across the country and the approaching debut of the first Foot Locker store in India, Metro Brands is strengthening its position in the Indian retail sector, offering a diverse selection of both domestic and international brands.
