With 13 new locations slated to open in 2023, Mango is planning to expand its presence in the UK. The growth largely targets the south and centre of the nation, in significant cities including Bristol, London, Manchester, and Leeds, as well as Mango’s first entry into cities like Brighton.
“The United Kingdom is one of the key markets for Mango’s international expansion. Our arrival this year in cities we have not been present in until now and in some of the largest shopping centres in the country will consolidate the Mango brand and allow us to strengthen our position internationally,” said Daniel López, Mango’s Director of Expansion and Franchises.
The store that opens at Westfield Stratford City is one of the major openings for the Spanish fashion behemoth. The 450 m2 retail space in the store is dedicated solely to the womenswear line.
In the Churchill Square shopping mall in Brighton, Mango will establish its first presence with the opening of a 470 m2 store.
Mango has already established new locations in areas including Leeds, Solihull, and Bristol in the first few months of this year. There are also plans to open more outlets in cities like Milton Keynes, Glasgow, and London.
