
Global fashion retailer Mango has announced a strategic partnership with o9 Solutions, an enterprise AI software platform, to modernise its supply chain and planning operations. This collaboration aims to enhance Mango’s decision-making capabilities through data-driven insights across its extensive retail network.
The initiative focuses on replacing Mango’s existing legacy systems with an AI-powered planning structure designed to navigate the complexities of today’s retail environment. Key areas of focus include the overhaul of Mango’s Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Assortment Planning, and Demand Planning systems.
o9 Solutions, which already provides services to major retail brands like Prada, J. Crew, and Urban Outfitters, will leverage its expertise in fashion retail planning to support Mango’s digital transformation. The o9 Digital Brain platform will unify critical planning processes within a single ecosystem, fostering collaborative decision-making across various departments.
This platform will provide Mango with the flexibility to enhance its planning functions, integrate proprietary Data Science models, and scale its operations to support future growth.
Chakri Gottemukkala, co-founder and CEO of o9 Solutions, emphasised Mango’s proactive approach to technology integration, stating that the partnership will provide Mango with the agility and intelligence needed for improved business outcomes.
