Lululemon has announced plans to expand its international footprint in 2026 with entry into six new markets, marking the highest number of country launches the brand has undertaken in a single year.
The expansion will be executed through Lululemon’s newly introduced franchise partnership model and will include market entries into Greece, Austria, Poland, Hungary and Romania, in addition to a previously announced launch in India.
The European expansion will be carried out in partnership with Arion Retail Group, while the brand’s entry into India will be supported through a partnership with Tata CLiQ. Consumers in Greece, Austria, Poland, Hungary and Romania will have access to Lululemon’s full product assortment via dedicated online platforms. In India, digital access will be available through Tata CLiQ Luxury and Tata CLiQ Fashion.
Details regarding physical retail, including store locations and opening timelines, are expected to be announced in the new year.
The company said community engagement will remain a core pillar of its international growth strategy. As it enters new regions, Lululemon plans to expand its ambassador network and host local events centred on movement and wellbeing.
Commenting on the expansion, Sarah Clark, senior vice president for EMEA at Lululemon, said the company continues to see strong global demand for the brand and is focused on building its presence and communities across Europe and the Asia Pacific region. She added that each of the new markets offers significant potential and that the company looks forward to working closely with its franchise partners to introduce its products and customer experiences to new consumers.
The planned launches form part of Lululemon’s broader international growth strategy. The company currently operates in more than 30 markets worldwide across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and mainland China. The announcement follows Lululemon’s entry into Italy earlier this year, as well as recent franchise-led expansions in Denmark, Turkey and Belgium.
