Lucy Yeomans, founder and co-chair, of luxury styling mobile gaming platform DREST is to re-take the CEO reins as Lisa Bridgett stands down for personal reasons.
Bridgett joined DREST in 2019 as CMO, then in February 2022 she was promoted to CEO. As the company gets ready for the global roll-out of DREST version two in 2024, the platform has acquired an additional £15 million that will enable its evolution across gaming, media, data, and e-commerce.
Bridgett, a seasoned fashion executive, had held key positions at companies like Net-A-Porter, Ralph Lauren, and The Modist for many years. She’ll continue to serve as DREST’s advisor. In order to spend more time with her family, she claimed she was relocating.
“After five exceptional years of working with such a uniquely talented team at DREST and partnering with the inimitable Lucy Yeomans, I have decided to invest time in my sons, my husband and myself,” she said.
Yeomans will temporarily retake the CEO reins while she and co-chair Graham Edwards work with an executive search agency to find a replacement. Yeomans is a well-known personality in the fashion industry who formerly edited Harpers Bazaar and held the post of global content director at Net-A-Porter.
She said of the news, “I am immensely grateful for the commitment, passion, vision and expertise that Lisa has brought to the business – it has been a fantastic experience working so closely with her during this period of intense growth for DREST.”
DREST was founded in 2019, and since then, the platform—which blends gamification, advertising, and data strategy options for brands—has worked with some of the largest names in fashion, beauty, and luxury, including Gucci Beauty, NARS, Cartier, Prada, and Loewe.
