In response to the ‘new-normal’ fashion that’s defined by post-Covid trends, Rael Brook, the London-based menswear retailer, has halted the production of shirts and nightwear and is focussing on its occasionwear business.
Reportedly, the retailer witnessed significant fall in the demand for shirts post-pandemic, which along with rise in production costs forced Rael Brook to stop production.
The fashion retailer will no longer offer shirts, T-shirts, dressing gowns and pyjamas.
The focus, instead, will be more on eveningwear segment that includes wedding ties, bow ties and cravats.
In a letter sent to stockists recently, the retailer said “Rael Brook will continue to trade, selling accessories and we will shift focus to our wedding and eveningwear business. Thus, we have concluded that we will no longer require agencies to sell on our behalf.”
The letter also read that any inbound shipments and all associated backorders would be cancelled.
An English shirtmaker since 1948, Rael Brook is known for providing quality shirts, in a range of colours and fabric, to men all around the world.
