Knya, the Indian medical apparel brand, has strengthened its presence in South India with the opening of its 11th store nationwide and second in the southern region, debuting in Mangalore. The launch underscores the brand’s ambition to rapidly scale across South India’s major medical and educational hubs.
Designed specifically for healthcare professionals, the new outlet reflects Knya’s core philosophy of pairing performance with purpose. It offers medical workers the chance to experience the brand’s quality, comfort, and design sensibilities first-hand.
South India remains a strategic growth driver for Knya, thanks to the region’s robust ecosystem of medical and educational institutions. The Mangalore store sits in close proximity to several leading centres, including Kasturba Medical College (900 metres away), Kasturba Hospital, Attavar (1.2 km), and Father Muller Medical College (1.2 km). Its location strengthens Knya’s direct access to healthcare professionals and students across the southern states.
Co-founder Abhijeet Kaji said the company’s mission was to become a trusted part of every healthcare professional’s journey. He noted that entering Mangalore allowed the brand to build stronger connections with the region’s vibrant medical community while offering apparel crafted for comfort, functionality, and professional pride.
With the Mangalore launch now complete, Knya intends to accelerate its South India expansion, with upcoming stores planned across key Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The brand aims to ensure that medical professionals across the country can easily access high-quality, purpose-built medical apparel.
