
With immediate effect, Kering has added Chief Financial Officer Armelle Poulou and Chief Strategy Officer Melanie Flouquet to the group’s executive committee. Following these two nominations, the executive committee currently has 13 members, with 46 percent of them being women, according to a statement from Kering.
The company also disclosed that Mélanie Flouquet, a United Kingdom-qualified chartered accountant and EM Lyon alumna, spent 20 years as a managing director at JP Morgan, where she oversaw the team responsible for luxury goods equity research. She joined Kering in May 2021 and is currently the company’s chief strategy officer.
A graduate from HEC, Armelle Poulou, Kering further said, successively held financial positions, in France and globally, at Procter & Gamble, Hewlett-Packard and EDF, before joining the company in 2019 as director of corporate finance, treasury and insurance. She was appointed Kering’s chief financial officer in September 2023.
