As part of a larger retail development strategy to boost sales and brand recognition, Swedish menswear company John Henric has launched its first UK location in the City of London.
The 1,140 square foot store is situated in the City of London’s One New Change retail and leisure complex. This location enables the brand to target both the business district and visitors.
London is the brand’s first international outlet location outside of its own Nordic region. At the moment, the business operates eleven locations across its home country of Sweden, including Stockholm, Helsingborg, and Gothenburg, in addition to three stores in Oslo. The firm sees London as a launching pad for future growth and plans to create more shops across the city, as the UK is its second-largest e-commerce market.
John Ekström, the chief executive of John Henric, said the brand aims to open between two and six stores in London, with a focus on securing ideal locations alongside the right neighbouring brands.
John Henric was established to address the need for smart-casual, affordable, yet luxurious accessories and apparel that would last clients a lifetime. The brand’s fundamental concept is producing genuine, superior craftsmanship at affordable prices.
