Santoni, an Italian bespoke shoe business, is expanding its footprint in India, with plans to open two more luxury stores in Mumbai and Hyderabad by 2026.
Co-founder of Santoni’s partner in India, Luxerati Retail Pvt. Ltd., Sanjay Kataria, said that the business intends to invest about Rs. 15 crore in expansion. The business spent a comparable amount to open its store in Delhi in 2018. The company now operates one store in Delhi.
According to Kataria, the company is also thinking of launching an online storefront in 2026 that would be exclusively focused on the Indian market, just like Louis Vuitton did here.
Luxerati Retail has shown annual growth of 15-20 per cent. By 2021, the business turned a profit, and for the current fiscal year, it hopes to generate Rs. 8 crore in revenues.
