Indian Terrain, which re-opened one of its select brand outlets in Coimbatore recently, intends to boost its revenues by 10 per cent this fiscal year. Charath Ram Narasimhan, MD-CEO of Indian Terrain, emphasised that the brand’s revenue was Rs 460 crore in the previous fiscal year and they foresee a 10 per cent growth this year.
Concerning sales channels, Narasimhan revealed that 15 per cent of the company’s entire sales last year came from e-commerce, which is also witnessing growth.
On growth plans, Narasimhan shared that Indian Terrain currently runs 200 select stores across India with target for rapid growth. “This year, we aspire to open 30 fresh stores nationally, with 20-25 stores intended for the South and Western regions,” he furthered.
In the textile center of Coimbatore, the brand by now has 9 stores and a robust presence in close by cities like Tiruppur, Salem, Erode, and Karur. “This area demonstrates high consumption potential, and we have capitalised on this with more than 20 stores in this region alone,” Narasimhan highlighted. Indian Terrain runs 50 stores in Tamil Nadu, displaying its major footprint in the state.
