London (UK)-based iconic designer menswear brand Simon Carter has introduced its latest Spring/Summer 2018 range in India. The brand operates in the country in an exclusive tie-up with India’s leading fashion retailer Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL), markedly.
The brand’s new summer collection comprises a broad array of linen blazers, expressive prints and washed cottons that insinuate fun, colour and comfort and exude laidback luxury vibe.
In keeping with its concept ‘Swinging into the wild’, the collection is a sophisticated mélange of flawless luxury and off-beat designs, manifesting the elements of wild through tailoring and designs.
Importantly, the designs are heavily influenced by forests, undersea life and theme parks. The flora and fauna depicted on the shirts are extremely conversational, accentuated by brilliant and fresh hues.
Further, even as generous details, intricate artisanship and animated designs are the hallmarks of the assortment, the colour board, too, takes cues from various elements of nature. Shades like sunny, sea blue, green, pink, white and lilac have been used extensively, therefore.
What’s more, the whole range is crafted using rich fabric that renders a comy fit and chic look.
Whilst, the shirts are made entirely out of cotton spawned with different thread constructions varying between 70/1 and 140/2, the blazer fabric is a superior mix of poly wool, 100 per cent linen, cotton linen and linen wool silk.

Notably, globally-renowned designer Simon Carter had launched his eponymous brand in India in September 2017. Currently, the brand has outlets spread across key cities like Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai and is looking to soon open a few more doors in the country.
