
Indian ethnic wear brand BIBA has expanded its physical presence in the state of Maharashtra by opening its 40th store here.
The brand has found a new address for its outlet at Aurangabad city. The newly inaugurated store at city’s Prozone Mall is spread over an area of 1,300 square feet and is the second store of the label in the region.
The latest Spring/Summer 2018 collections have been stocked in the store. BIBA girls collection offering is notably a mixture of Indian and contemporary designs featured on anarkali, peshwai kurtas, skirts, tunics and kurta dresses.
The fashion retailer recently revealed its plans to strengthen its presence across the country by doubling its store count from current 246 by the year 2020. Typically, it opens about 30-40 stores annually.
The brand is also available on all leading e-commerce websites. It recently entered into a partnership with Amazon India to launch its ready-to-stitch (RTS) collection exclusively on Amazon.in, a step to bolster its online presence.
Last month, BIBA launched its 24th store in the Mumbai city which holds special significance for the label as it opened its first store here back in 2004 and has grown manifold since then.
BIBA, which is investing heavily in its physical retail expansion, now expects Rs. 600-crore revenue in the current financial year with all its plans in place.
