In Singapore’s Plaza Singapura, the British footwear brand Hunter Boots has launched its first physical location in Southeast Asia. Through a collaboration with Baozun, the end-to-end e-commerce solution company, the brand recently unveiled its official websites for Singapore and Malaysia. According to the corporation, the launch of its first store in Southeast Asia signifies its regional expansion.
“The opening of Singapore’s first physical store will help potential partners in more countries reshape their conventional perception about Hunter’s products and see more collaborative possibilities with us,” said Wesley Chu, president of Authentic Brands Group Asia Pacific, which owns 49 per cent of the brand.
“Baozun will rely on our technology, data-driven products, and refined operations to offer diversified and personalised shopping experiences to local consumers. The team will continue to empower Hunter to achieve sustainable growth in the Southeast Asian market,” said Vincent Qiu, founder, chairman and CEO of Baozun.
Last August, Authentic Brands Group sold a 51 per cent stake in Hunter to Baozun to grow the brand in Greater China and Southeast Asia.
