
It’s been Merry Christmas for The Very Group!
The UK-based retailer has witnessed its retail sales surge strongly by 21.9 per cent for the 7 weeks that ended 24 December 2021 – compared with the same period back in 2019.
Fashion and sports sales grew by 17.7 per cent from the two-year-ago period. Notably, the Group saw its sports clothing and footwear sales rise by a good 25.5 per cent when compared to 2019.
Besides, Very Group’s efforts to win customers too seemed to be paying rich dividends as 2021 saw a rise of 129.1 per cent in users when compared to 2019.
More on the good performance, Henry Birch, CEO, The Very Group, said that Very posted an outstanding double-digit growth in 2021 compared with the pre-pandemic festive season in 2019, as its customers enjoyed a more ‘normal’ Christmas.
