Good Earth, the homegrown luxury apparel and lifestyle good retailer, has generously become a part of brands contributing to producing hand sanitisers, face masks and PPE to be donated to all those in need, especially the medical staff.
The company has obtained a license to produce hand sanitisers at its Ballabhgarh factory with the help of its teams Amritam and ParoBotanica.
According to a statement by the retailer on Facebook, they have successfully donated their first batch of hand sanitisers to a non-profit organisation, Goonj.
The first batch was prepared in a week after obtaining the license and they expect to procure more raw materials soon in order to keep rolling out batches of hand sanitisers for donation.
As per the company, the idea for manufacturing hand sanitisers was originally put forth by their consultant Syed Hussain, following which supply chain manager Bhushan Kumar and senior merchandising Afroz Alam planned the operation.
“We acknowledge with pride the initiative taken by our Amritam and ParoBotanica teams in the spirit of ‘seva’ to provide fully effective sanitisers to health workers who are in the field,” read the Facebook statement by the company.
