Barbour, the British fashion and lifestyle label, has unveiled a new premium sub-brand for autumn-winter 2020 – and that’s Gold standard.
The new premium sub-brand comprises 10 jackets made from signature waxed cotton and quilt fabrics. The focus is on displaying Barbour’s 125-year-old rich heritage.
What’s noteworthy is that the jackets are designed in ergonomic and engineered cuts – not to mention that patterns are hand-cut in South Shields.
Commenting on the launch of the sub-brand, Paul Wilkinson, Global Marketing and Commercial Director, Barbour, said “Barbour Gold Standard is a new luxury premium sub-brand for men that represents the pinnacle of our offering. Designed to target a luxury/premium distribution, it celebrates the expert craftsmanship and design knowledge that we have gathered over 125 years.”
The brand is renowned for designing, manufacturing and marketing waxed cotton outerwear, ready-to-wear, clothing, footwear and accessories for men, women and children.
