
Mytheresa, the German e-commerce platform, has announced the expansion of its partnership with the resale platform Vestiaire Collective into the US market.
The expansion programme will begin with invitation to Mytheresa’s top customers in the US to participate.
Notably, the American customers will receive a price quote for pre-loved items, following which they will get Mytheresa store credit after the garments have been checked at an authentication centre.
The e-tailer said that its initial partnership with Vestiaire Collective– which had begun in 2021 – had turned out to be successful.
Michael Kliger, elated over the expansion news, said that Mytheresa was excited to bring its alliance with Vestiaire Collective to the US especially after a great success in Europe.
Mytheresa recently witnessed its net sales shoot up by 2.8 per cent to € 169.5 million in the quarter that ended 31 March 2022.

Founded in 2006, Mytheresa is known for high-end apparels, shoes, bags and accessories from luxury designer brands such as Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Fendi, Gucci and Moncler, amongst others.
