American fashion retailer GAP is mulling to invest around US $ 3.1 million in its Gallatin campus over the next five years. The company will make most of its investment in upgrading technology to expand its online order fulfilment capabilities in Middle Tennessee. Also, 100 more jobs at its distribution centre in Tennessee will be created. Around three years back, the company invested US $ 35 million to bring 90 jobs to Gallatin.
Kevin Kuntz, VP of Logistics – GAP said, “As a premier logistics provider, the company continued to find innovative ways to dynamically, quickly and reliably deliver product to both retail stores and online customers. With the expansion of our presence in Gallatin, we look forward to providing opportunities for members of our valued community.”
