Scandinavian street-style brand Ganni has launched its first store in Thailand, in partnership with local distributor Tanachira Group.
The store, located in Bangkok’s Central Embassy, features designs with a dash of Scandinavian flair under the Smart Luxury concept, which retains simplicity while concealing luxury and exceptional details, emphasising sustainable fashion. It also includes the current Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
According to Tanachira Group, the goal is to establish a new fashion phenomenon for the global fashion market by curating fashion goods that are diverse while still reflecting each person’s individuality.
Frans Truelsen launched Ganni in 2000 as a cashmere apparel business. Ganni is regarded by fashion analysts as a luxury brand with lower-end costs.
Ganni is presently available at retailers worldwide, including Net-a-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom. L Catterton, an LVMH-linked private equity group, owns the majority of the brand. It was reportedly for sale in 2022 at a $700 million valuation.
Ganni is a Danish fashion brand and was founded by Copenhagen gallerist Frans Truelsen in the year 2000.
