French luxury giant LVMH has just witnessed its half-yearly revenue for 2022 go up by a good 28 per cent to € 36.7 billion.
Notably, the growth seen in the fashion and leather goods has been equally strong, with organic revenue jumping by 24 per cent to clock € 18.1 billion during the said period.
And all this despite lockdown restrictions in China!
Though the growth in Asia was a bit slow owing to lockdowns in China, the luxury house has been seeing good sales in the US and Europe ever since the start of the year.
Going forward, though LVMH would remain vigilant – considering the existing political and pandemic uncertainties – it is confident of the agility and talent of its teams that should help it bolster its global leadership position in luxury goods this year.
Paris-based LVMH was founded in 1987 and generated € 53.7 billion in 2019.
