British online clothing retailer, Freemans has launched a new line of budget-conscious wedding gowns under the segment ‘the UK’s best value wedding dress.’
Considering the dropping footfall in the current retail market scenario of the UK, the introduction of value dresses against the average high-priced wedding gowns by Freemans is expected to manipulate the buying behaviour of shoppers.
Under the launched collection, one can find a full-length designer gown with cut-out lace detailing at the price of £ 58. The collection also includes a range of maternity wedding gowns in sizes six to 28 costing £ 120.
The newly launched collection costs 22 times lesser than an average wedding gown valued at nearly £ 1000 in the UK.
The increasing price-sensitive shopping behaviour because of the cost of living crisis is igniting a new change in the industry to value the customer’s choices and introduce an affordable range within their offerings.
Linda Quinn, chief merchandising officer, Freemans said, “With the cost of the average wedding still over £ 18,000, an affordable wedding dress is one way couples can stay richer, not poorer. The responses to the new range have been phenomenal with hundreds of budget-conscious brides rushing to buy our designer dupes within days of the collection being released.”
