Renowned fashion brand of France, Maison Kitsuné, has announced a joint venture with China’s leading menswear brand JoeOne.
Though it is presently limited to a single store in Hong Kong, the French brand intends to launch 50 more points of sales in China in next 5 years.
This is a part of brand’s strategic announcement made in October 2018 about exploring untapped markets of Asia with the help of local partners. The firm will also be focusing on opening 3 stores in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Chengdu by September 2019.
Expressing happiness over the joint venture, Gildas Loaëc, Co-founder, Maison Kitsuné, said “We are thrilled about this alliance with JoeOne as it provides Maison Kitsuné with broad resources to enhance our business in Greater China.
He further added that JoeOne’s deep expertise and knowledge of retail market in China as well as consumers make them an ideal partner to develop Maison Kitsuné’s long-term growth strategy in China.
Founded in 1989, JoeOne has over 2,700 stores all over China whereas Maison Kitsuné has over 400 points of sale across the world.
