Authentic Brands Group, a leading global brand development and licensing company, has announced the appointment of Matt Maddox as its new President, according to a report.
The newly appointed President holds over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and gaming industry and is a seasoned executive who will lead the company’s global commercial team, driving growth across its portfolio of iconic brands, including Champion, Reebok, and Ted Baker, the report added.
Matt Maddox previously served as CEO of Wynn Resorts, where he played a ‘crucial’ role in the company’s global expansion. His expertise in scaling high-growth businesses and driving operational excellence is expected to be invaluable as Authentic continues to diversify its business and expand into new markets.
Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Authentic Brands Group, Jamie Salter, also said that he believes Maddox is an ‘exceptional leader’. The CEO has also said that Maddox’s market knowledge will help accelerate the company’s growth trajectory.
With Maddox joining as President, Nick Woodhouse will transition to Executive Vice Chairman, continuing to contribute to the company’s strategic direction and ensuring its continued success.
