British fashion and lifestyle brand FatFace has launched on Zalando, marking its entry into the German market as part of its accelerating international expansion strategy.
German customers can now access FatFace’s womenswear and menswear collections, alongside its premium womenswear line Copper & Black. Accessories and footwear are expected to follow in the coming months as the partnership with the Berlin-based platform develops further.
The launch follows a strong first half of 2025 for the retailer, with full-price sales rising 6.6% and sales through the NEXT Label surging 86% year-on-year. Digital now accounts for 36% of revenue, supported by more than 40 million annual visits to FatFace’s website.
Commenting on the development, Alexandra Dalwood, Head of Partners at FatFace, said the brand’s integration into the NEXT family had provided a strong platform for growth and international expansion. She described the Zalando debut as an important step in building global brand awareness and reaching a new audience in Germany.
The move builds on FatFace’s multichannel strategy, which gained momentum following its acquisition by NEXT in 2023. Since then, the brand has grown its digital presence while investing in physical retail, with recent store openings in Westport and the Isle of Man, as well as its first NEXT concession at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Looking ahead, FatFace is planning to broaden its presence across Europe through Zalando and other international channels.
