A new fashion-focused online marketplace, Ready Hou, has formally launched operations in Bangladesh following a soft opening, marking its entry into the country’s increasingly competitive e-commerce fashion segment.
The launch was marked by an inauguration event at the company’s office in Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka. The founders said Ready Hou aims to position itself as a comprehensive digital fashion marketplace built around the concept of “fashion with purpose”.
Alongside its commercial launch, Ready Hou announced a commitment to social impact initiatives. As part of its corporate social responsibility programme, the company said it will allocate 1% of the selling price of each product towards programmes supporting improved nutrition for women and children.
The company said its broader objective is to combine accessible fashion with long-term social value, seeking to integrate purpose-led practices into everyday consumer choices. In a statement, the founders said Ready Hou is intended to operate as a mission-driven platform rather than solely as a transactional fashion marketplace, as it looks to establish its presence in Bangladesh’s evolving digital retail landscape.
